First failure for LT’s (new) Recommendation engine

Oh my god, this book was soooooo bad.  I grabbed it from the library because it had a fire-breathing unicorn and was billed as a comedy, and it started off with potential, but just crashed and burned after about 20% of the way in.  The writing was awful, the characters were shallow and the story was just ridiculous.

Truly, the most awful thing I think I’ve ever read.

1/2 star of awful.

    1. Soooo awful, even I couldn’t find any redeeming qualities in it.

LT has so far recommended more winners than losers, but the main problem is, I think, that they’re trying to achieve success through sheer volume instead of focusing on metrics that would recommend a few, quality titles. But maybe that will improve as I provide feedback on the reccs they’ve made to date. We’ll see.
